Clearwater 1.5kg pH Minus is a simple and effective way to keep the pH levels of a pool within the recommended boundaries, reducing alkalinity and producing a more comfortable swimming environment. Its basically the best way to avoid an influx of itchy skin or eyes that sting and look like cherries.
Its scientifically proven that swimming pool pH levels should be between 7.2 and 7.6 (this can be tested using Clearwater Dip Test Strips, which are available on the Bestway Chemicals section of the website). When water pH levels clamber above 7.6 alkalinity increases and pH treatment is required. Anything and everything that enters a pool contains its own pH level which, quite naturally, alters the pH balance of a pool. Contaminants can include falling leaves, trespassing animals, dead skin and even faeces!
Using the pH reducer couldnt be easier. Once the recommended amount has been dissolved in warm water the solution is added to the pool, reducing high pH water to a more suitable level. After eight hours pH levels should be checked again and decreased or increased until they fall within the bracket of 7.2 to 7.6. If the pH level has fallen below 7.2 you should use Bestway Clearwater pH Plus, available inside the Bestway Chemicals collection, to increase it to the correct level.
