Premier Double Screened Soil from Altico is a topsoil manufactured from a blend of natural soil and compost. This makes it good for use under turf to help improve the strength and durability. It will also help with improving water drainage which will aid with the growth of new and established trees & shrubs. It can also be used on allotments to help fruits & vegetables to thrive.
Double Screened Soil is ideal for:
- As a base for new turf
- To fill raised beds
- On allotments to grow fruit and vegetables
Our aggregate range is delivered in 0.8 cubic metre bulk bags on a non returnable pallet. The Bulk Bag holds around 850kg of soil.
Delivery Information
- Your order will be delivered in a bulk bag on a wooden pallet from the tail lift of a heavy goods vehicle – if you have any access issues please contact us BEFORE placing your order.
- Delivery can only be made to the nearest kerbside/hard standing ground, and both the bulk bag and wooden pallet are non-returnable.
- After you have placed your order, Altico’s home delivery team will be in contact to arrange a delivery day. They aim to deliver within 7 working days, subject to availability
- Please be aware, there is a delivery surcharge for the following postcodes: KW, IV, PH, AB, TQ, PL, TR. If you place an order to one of these postcodes, please make sure you tick the surcharge box.

Altico delivery information
- We can only deliver to the nearest kerbside or hard standing ground.
- Delivery is made using a tail lift vehicle.
- The delivery point must be smooth and level with no slopes and access must also be large enough to accept a heavy goods vehicle.
- We cannot leave the goods on a pavement or public road.
- Deliveries are made between 7-10 working days, Monday to Friday only (8am – 5pm).
- You will be contacted in advance with the date of when the delivery is scheduled for, this is usually within 7 working days of Altico receiving the order. All deliveries must be signed for.
- Deliveries are to UK mainland only.
- Delivery will be to the nearest kerbside or hard standing ground, access must be suitable for large taillift lorries. Please ensure that the surface is smooth and level to unload onto.
- Any issues with the order must be reported within 24 hours of the delivery taking place.
- If a delivery arrangement is broken, a redelivery charge will be applied and will need to be paid directly to the transport company.
- All products are delivered on wooden pallets. The pallet and packaging are non returnable.
