1.8m x 1.8m Contemporary Double Slatted Fence Panel – Anthracite Grey

£691.83£1,153.05

Product Description

The 6ft Grey Painted Contemporary Double Slatted Fence Panel gives an instant modern finish to your garden borders and can also be used as a partition or dividing screen. Based on our popular double slatted fence panel, a high-quality factory paint finish has been pre-applied, saving both time and money.

This Anthracite Grey colour has become a favourite amongst architects and is one of the most specified colours in construction due to its unobtrusive ability to blend well with any colour or building material.

The fence panel features slats mounted alternately on the front and back of the panel. With this arrangement the panel offers privacy, unlike single-sided slatted panels, whilst still letting some light and air flow through.

Manufactured from FSC certified timber from sustainable sources that is pre-treated with an aqueous industrial wood preservative prior to painting and has a 10 year Anti-Rot guarantee.

To maintain the finish, it is recommended that the arch be repainted after 3 years. For repainting or touching-up a suitable exterior paint should be colour matched to RAL7016 in a semi-gloss finish or the original Teknos factory paint NORDICA EKO 3330-17, colour code TM-9587/15, can be sourced from a home/garden warehouse.

The additional wooden shed base provides and solid, quick, easy and effective solution to preparing a base for a Forest Overlap or Shiplap shed. Sheds must always be built on a solid and level base and poured concrete or concrete slabs are usually recommended but these do add cost, time and complexity. This wooden base is a quick and easy alternative to slabs or poured concrete. It has the added benefit of raising the shed, further isolating it from the ground which helps to prevent water splash back in heavy rain.

This robust and long-lasting base has tiny incisions that go deep into the timber that allow the pressure treatment preservative to penetrate deep into timber, protecting it from rot and making it suitable for ground contact.

The base should be laid on level ground or propped with suitable material on uneven ground. While building a shed directly on dirt or grass is not recommend this shed base does make this a possibility provided a suitable heavy duty weed membrane is used under the base.
