Bestway 12ft Solar Pool Cover utilizes the sun’s solar energy to warm the pool water and to minimize pool debris. The solar cover floats on top of the water when a pool isn’t being used. Its design is similar to bubble insulation, trapping heat inside a pool and keeping it insulated.
Other benefits of the cover are that it reduces evaporation to save on water costs and, because it blocks out dirt and grime, can reduce the need for water cleansing chemicals. The solar cover’s air bubbles can keep a pool insulated even when the sunny season has finished, prolonging the use of a pool for weeks or even months after.
