New Power Saving Timer

New for 2017, the Hawaii Hydrojet Pro hot tub features a Power Saving Timer on the heating system which allows you to take control of your spa’s water heater up to 48 hours in advance. With the new Power Saving Timer function, you can set the spa heater to activate up to 24 hours into the future, or set the duration of how long the heater is turned on for, up to 2 days in advance, using an hourly interval timing system. The new heating timer controls means you can come home to your Lay-Z-Spa already heated, ready to relax and unwind after work or weekend away.

The Rapid Heating System heats the spa water up to a blissful 40 degrees Celsius. The Hawaii HydroJet Pro™ comes complete with an insulating, inflatable top lid, an exterior cover and a bubble mat, all of which help to insulate and protect your spa when it is not in use.

TriTech™ for Strength & Durability

Designed with a sturdy TriTech™ construction, the Hawaii HydroJet™ offers both durability and a soft cushioning structure to relax into. Its soft, insulating floor ensures that from start to finish, your Lay-Z-Spa experience becomes your daily escape from the world.

Cushioned Air Mat Floor

An upgraded feature is the separate air pad cushioned floor which sits underneath the spa. On top of the additional comfort under foot and backside, this helps with insulation and minimising the loss of heat through the base of the spa.

New Square Shape

The Hawaii Hydrojet Pro hot tub is our first square Lay-Z-Spa in the range and comes with all the thoughtful little features that make this premium hot tub look sleek and smart in your garden. Built into the Chlorinator, Filter and Hydrojet unit is a useful storage compartment, handy for keeps chemicals, salt, and cleaning equipment tidily out of sight. The Hawaii Hydrojet Pro also comes with a smart Leatheroid cover – it’s insulated to keep the heat in, and features Double Lock Safety Clips, to ensure it stays covered in windy weather, and gives a neat finish to your hottub when not in use.

Easy to set up, no tools required

Requiring no professional installation or tools, the Hawaii™ inflates using its own pump and can be erected and filling up with water in just ten minutes! You most likely won’t need it, but just in case, all of our Lay-Z-Spas come with a useful set-up and maintenance DVD.

Clearsoft™ Water Treatment System

The integrated ClearSoft™ Water Treatment System means you can reduce the amount of chlorine required to put into your spa, by using the built-in Salt Chlorinator System. To use the system you simply add pure spa salt into the water and the in-built electrostatic system will convert it into hygienic, chlorinated water. When using the Clearsoft system, we still recommend adding Clearwater Chemicals to your spa as well and always testing the water before use.

The ClearSoft™ Water Treatment System also has a built in Water Softening System which helps to reduce the adverse effects of hard water (a common cause of spa staining and skin irritation).

How easy is the Hawaii Hydro-Jet Pro to set up?

Very easy! The Palm Springs only takes around 10 minutes to set up and up to 1-2 hours to fill with water depending on your water pressure. You inflate the Lay-Z-Spa using the pump and you don’t need any tools. We also have setup videos available to guide you through the process.

How much does the Hawaii Hydro-Jet Pro cost to run?

We estimate that it costs around *£7 – £10 a week to run the Palm Springs based on feedback we have had from our customers (*this is an estimate and does not take into consideration specifics such as electricity supplier and use frequency).

Does the Hawaii Hydro-Jet Pro have a warranty & UK support team?

Yes to both! Our standard warranty is 12 months on the pump and 6 months on the cover & liner, which you can extend by 50% for free by registering with us (details in the box). We have a free UK based support team who are fully trained to help Lay-Z-Spa owners.

Does the Lay-Z-Spa Hawaii Hydro-Jet Pro plug into a normal UK socket?

Yes, all Lay-Z-Spas are designed to plug into a standard UK 13amp/240V electrical supply. We advise that you always use an RCD protected socket (like those installed in your home) and not an extension lead. The Palm Springs comes with a 7 metre power cable.

Do you need to put chemicals in the water?

Yes, it is essential to use chemicals in your Lay-Z-Spa. We have a helpful First Time Hot Tub Owner Guide to Chemicals and we recommend Clearwater Chemicals which are designed with Lay-Z-Spas in mind.

Can you put the Hawaii Hydro-Jet Pro indoors?

Lay-Z-Spas are suitable for use both outdoors and indoors. Most of our customers set them up in their gardens on artificial or normal grass, on a patio or in a summer house. For use indoors, you should take particular time and care to consider factors such as drainage and ventilation.

How long does the Hawaii Hydro-Jet Pro take for the water to heat up when you first fill it?

This can vary depending on the temperature of fresh water that goes into your spa and the ambient air temperature. On a typical summer’s day in the UK, it can take on average 6-12 hours to heat the water to 40°C. Once the water is up to your desired temperature, the pump can be left on, efficiently heating the water.
