Product Description

With a superb 15-year anti-rot warranty and generous 600-litre capacity, the Forest Shiplap Pent Garden Store provides you with a superior long-term home for all of your gardening tools and equipment.

Completely constructed from FSC?-certified timber, which is the only wood certification scheme endorsed by the major environmental charities, the durable 12mm shiplap tongue and groove cladding is not only responsibly sourced, but built to last. Pressure-treated bearers keep the 8mm OSB floor off the ground, safeguarding your stored items, whilst the 8mm OSB roof?s green mineral felt covering ensures your tools receive outstanding protection from the elements. You can position the pent roof either backwards or forwards, depending on your garden store?s location.

Double-doors provide easy access to your stored items, whilst a hasp and staple closure provides a place for you to add a padlock (not supplied), offering you peace of mind that everything is safe. Once closed, the door?s hinges are concealed to provide an additional security measure.

This elegant garden store enjoys a beautiful natural wood finish, a superb 15-year anti-rot warranty, and has been pressure-treated to guard against rot. No further treatment is required, saving you money and leaving you more time to do the things you enjoy.

Every Forest product carries the FSC label. Products with the FSC label are identified as products with their roots from well-managed forests, so you can be assured that you’re purchasing from a sustainable source.

The additional wooden shed base provides and solid, quick, easy and effective solution to preparing a base for a Forest Overlap or Shiplap shed. Sheds must always be built on a solid and level base and poured concrete or concrete slabs are usually recommended but these do add cost, time and complexity. This wooden base is a quick and easy alternative to slabs or poured concrete. It has the added benefit of raising the shed, further isolating it from the ground which helps to prevent water splash back in heavy rain.

This robust and long-lasting base has tiny incisions that go deep into the timber that allow the pressure treatment preservative to penetrate deep into timber, protecting it from rot and making it suitable for ground contact.

The base should be laid on level ground or propped with suitable material on uneven ground. While building a shed directly on dirt or grass is not recommend this shed base does make this a possibility provided a suitable heavy duty weed membrane is used under the base.
